Solstice Poem
~Solstice~ When the day is short
And the night is quite long,
Comes great insight and strength
To reverse what is wrong. At this time when so early
The sun it does hide,
And we’re faced with the darkness
Both without and inside. We will each dip into
The dark of our souls,
To reassess what is true
To realize our life goals. At this powerful time
When the dark will turn light,
We can release our old patterns
And reflect on what’s right. Just pause for a moment
Feel grateful for which,
Fills your life with pure love,
And your heart with great bliss. So light a candle
As an offering of peace,
To yourself, to the world,
And to all things unseen.
Celebrate this great Solstice
And wipe your slate clean,
To begin fresh and new To create glorious things!
